Our Pastor began attending an Independent, Fundamental, Bible-believing Baptist Church in Racine, WI. At Lighthouse Baptist Church, Charles saw how the church was very involved in the community as they were soul-winning, running the bus ministry in the inner city, people were getting saved and baptized, and joining the church. His heart began to be burdened when he realized that not many people in the Delta, where he is from, were getting reached with the gospel. From 2005-2009, our Pastor starting praying for God to send someone to the Delta to reach the people with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Also, before our Pastor was saved, his mother was praying that God would send a man of God to reach the people in the Delta.
Then in May of 2009, God showed our Pastor from Nehemiah 2:6 that it pleased the king to send him back to Mississippi Delta to reach his people. Our Pastor’s heartbeat is to start many Independent, Fundamental, Soul-winning, Baptist Churches throughout the state of Mississippi. King James Bible Baptist Church had its first service on April 28, 2013.

We are located at 800 South Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd, Suite 8A (off HWY 1, behind McDonald’s, two doors down from Delta Beauty College), Greenville, MS.
Church Service
We believe in having a church service with uplifting, hymns and spiritual songs that will stir and inspire you, prayer and practical preaching of the Word of God. We are an Independent, Fundamental, Bible believing, Bible preaching, soul winning, mission hearted, Baptist church. We also believe in having expository teaching and preaching from the Word of God.
What Should I Wear?
There is no strict dress code to attend our public services, but in case you’re wondering, a majority of our church members wear their “Sunday best’-the men in a dress shirt and dress slacks, typically with a tie, and the women in modest dress.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study
The Wednesday evening Bible study take place every week at 7pm. This is a time during the week when the church family gathers to listen and be taught practical, relevant truths from the Bible. You will learn truths that will help you in the areas of prayer, marriage, child rearing, relationships, and more!
